What is medical microneedling
Medical Microneedling or medical grade dermal rolling treatment creates a multitude of tiny punctures to the dermis at a depth which induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin. The stimulation of growth factors is how the body naturally rebuilds skin density and integrity.
Unlike many other treatments, Microneedling is one of the few skin therapies that is suitable to treat all skin types regardless of colour or sensitivity of the skin.
The process of natural collagen induction therapy significantly softens fine lines, helps tighten the skin and restore elasticity, and reduces the appearance of scarring and pigmentation to create a rejuvenated, younger looking radiant appearance.

What is involved and after care
Your skin will be analysed and a suitable numbing cream will be applied to your skin.
The DermaRoller treatment is carried out with minimal discomfort and with maximum results. The treatment is finished with appropriate professional serums and products to enhance the results.
Aftercare and home maintenance is required. We will suggest what products to use after treatments. Results can be seen and felt after the first treatment with ongoing improvements.
Results can be maximised with the regular use of professional home care products which are available to buy from the clinic. The use of specific skincare products that we recommend will enhance your results.
Recovery time
The Dermaroller therapy is very safe and heals quickly with very minimal recovery time. You will be able to resume your daily life almost straight away.
You may notice some redness or mild swelling similar to moderate sunburn, but this should subside within the first 24 hours of the procedure.

How many treatments will I need?
A course of 3 treatments at 6-8 week intervals is recommended to achieve optimum results.
